DELIVERY UK:

We offer Next Day delivery on all in stock items for orders placed and confirmed before 2pm Monday-Friday. Orders received after 2pm (UK time), will usually be despatched the next working day. Our designated couriers are DHL, UPS or DPD.

Next Day Delivery Costs (Monday-Friday):

Courier 24-Hour (Fabric Folded) - £9.95 + VAT

Courier 24-Hour (Fabric Rolled) - £15.00 + VAT

Courier Before 12pm Next Day (Fabric Folded) - £15.00 + VAT

Courier Before 12pm Next Day (Fabric Rolled) - £27.50 + VAT

Courier Before 9am – POA

Should the calculated weight of the parcel exceed 10KG, the price will automatically be calculated and applied to your basket. 

Quantities under 5mtrs are usually folded unless specified otherwise. 

Quantities over 5mtrs are usually rolled on tubes.

*For delivery to the Scottish Highlands and remote post codes, additional charges may apply. Please allow a further 2-3 days for delivery.

Swatches/Colour Cards/ Stock Cuttings: 

Swatches, colour cards and stock cuttings are usually sent by 2^nd Class Royal Mail. If you wish to use a tracked delivery service, this is chargeable as per the above delivery options ‘Courier 24-Hour (Fabric Folded)’ – please let us know.

DELIVERY TO THE EU:       

1. Ship direct from UK as before Brexit with our courier services DHL and UPS – we need your EORI number to help avoid customs delays. You may have to pay VAT in advance of delivery, which you claim back with your VAT return. You may also have to pay customs clearance charges. 

    

2. Brexit Solution: To avoid extra charges caused by Brexit we created MNO Bennett Silks Europe based in France. We consolidate EU orders and ship each Friday to France. MNO manages the importation, and from there our French team will arrange onward transport to your address. 

   This becomes an EU to EU transaction, like the good old days!

   MNO Bennett Silks Europe will provide an invoice, and payment must be made to our MNO Bennett Silks Europe bank account.

   Delivery may take a little longer than despatching direct from the UK, but avoids any extra charges etc. 

DELIVERY TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

We have standard and express options available. The price is recharged at cost and calculated on weight, dimensions and destination - P.O.A

COLLECTION

You are more than welcome to collect your orders from Stockport HQ, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Same day collection is normally available for orders placed and confirmed before 2pm.

USING YOUR OWN COURIER

If preferred, it is no problem to use your own courier account. Please let us know and we will provide you with the dimensions and weight of your order to obtain a quote from your courier company. Should your designated courier be DHL or UPS, if you provide us with your account number, with authorisation, we can process this for you.

You have a legal right to change your mind and return goods to us within 14 days of receipt of your order, for most items ordered online.

There are certain circumstance whereby the right to change your mind will not apply. For example, the fabric has been dyed to your own colour specification. 

Please examine fabric carefully before cutting - direct or indirect claims will not be accepted for any reason whatsoever after the silk has been cut by the customer, agent or maker-up. 

Claims for shortages, defects or incorrect delivery must be made within 14 days of delivery.

If the fabric is faulty or damaged, we will exchange the fabric or provide a full refund. 

If incorrectly ordered, returns are accepted but a 50% admin and restocking charge on the value of the returned goods, will be applied on correctly supplied fabric. 

Goods must be returned uncut/undamaged and in original packaging at the buyers own cost. Returned items may forfeit credit if received damaged due to insufficient packaging and therefore not suitable for re-sale.

Prior authorisation from us is required for any return and must be accompanied with a relevant returns code. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

ONLY SILK IS SILK

Silk is a one of the most classical fibres in the textile industry and its unique properties lead to the production of fabrics of outstanding beauty, fineness and durability. Silk is a natural fibre which is woven to create fabrics of different weights, textures and finishes. It has unique characteristics, irregularities and variations in the weave and/or shade which should not be considered as defects. Slight variation in the yarn shade from each dye batch is an inherent characteristic and has to be acceptable. 

Bennett Silks is not liable for fading or discolouration and therefore strongly recommend the use of UV filters and lightproof linings and interlinings.
